Annyeong! ^^ It's been more than a week that I'm not updated any. And I'm still in the busy-bee mode. So, this post will be a quick update from me. So sorry my-A (my nickname for this blog. heheh) I miss K-Pop alots. And, I also missed a lots loads of comeback for this past two weeks. Wonder Girls, F(x), Boyfriend etc. Saddie much? Yeah baby. But hey, there's something bothering me. For the first half of 2012, there's alots of debut, new rookie group, additional member of the sunbaes group, new fresh-attractive-genre of K-Pop (Busker Busker) and a big-scale-anticipating comeback of a few big names (Wonder Girls, Big Bang, SHINee etc.)
It is the additional member of sunbaes group and the trend of 'more than 5 members' of K-Pop rookie group. Nowadays, most of the rookie groups has more than 5 members. Why oh why? Following SM's Suju/SNSD trend? Wanna stand on the stage alone without backup dancer? To fulfill the young K-Pop's dream by the more member debuts, the more youngsters will have their chance to enter the K-Pop world?
At some point, it's looks ridiculously plentiful. I'm not saying that we should drag down the K-Pop dream or anything, but, do K-Pop really need to show to the whole world that they have a massive bunch of talentless people who only survived based on the good looks and sexy moves? Other than superb-addictive and dancey-dancey beat that K-Pop's has offered, we can clearly see that K-Pop is a visual-eyecandy genre. Maybe having only 3 (or less) main vocalist that has a superb voice and the others will act as a props/aegyo/waving hair prettily here and there become a K-Pop's must. Recent news : The additional members of T-ara and After School. hmm. The more the merrier? Do their company really think the more members will result the 'event merrier'? SNSD's much. After School's Flashback and T-ara's Day By Day. More members, higher expectations. |
